Bates Wins 1500 Meters with Personal Best Time at Widener Invitational

Junior Charlie Bates (Hoboken, N.J.) won the 1500 meters with a personal best time of 3:53.65 at the Widener Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Bates led a group of eight Villanova athletes that competed in the 1500 meters at Leslie C. Quick, Jr. Stadium in this weekend's local meet.
