Junior middle distance runner Stephanie Schappert (Delray Beach, Fla.) and junior pole vaulter Alexandra Wasik (Medina, Ohio) were each among 10 women's track student-athletes named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Team in an announcement made on Thursday morning. The recognition comes as a result of accomplishments both in the classroom and during the indoor and outdoor track & field seasons.
