Despite having its team split up between two different meets during the day, Villanova still recorded a strong finish at the Paul Short Run on Saturday morning. The trio of junior Jordy Williamsz (Melbourne, Australia), senior Sam McEntee (Perth, Australia) and junior Rob Denault (Aurora, Ont.) led the Wildcats to a 13th place finish out of 42 teams in the Men's Gold race on the Cross Country Course at Lehigh. Later in the day, another delegation of Wildcats competed at the Washington Invitational and recorded a seventh place finish.
