The men's cross country team earned its eighth straight team berth to the NCAA Championships this season and will be making its 32nd appearance overall at the national meet this weekend. Villanova competes at the NCAA meet this coming Saturday at 1 p.m. on the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Ind., which is hosting the national championships for the seventh time in the last eight years. The Wildcats are one of nine teams in the field of 31 who have qualified for the NCAA Championships in each of the last eight seasons. The 32 all-time appearances for Villanova rank as the 11th most in NCAA history.
