A group of 11 athletes competed in six different events for Villanova during the McElligott Invitational at Alumni Gym on Saturday afternoon. The highlights for the Wildcats included a personal best time in the mile by redshirt freshman Drake Johnston (Santa Monica, Calif.) and a first place finish in the pole vault by freshman James Deutmeyer (Rye, N.Y.).
