Williamsz Runs Incredible Anchor Leg as Wildcats Place Fifth in Distance Medley RelayPublished by
Over the final 1600 meters of the distance medley relay at the NCAA Championships, junior Jordy Williamsz (Melbourne, Australia) produced a split that was two seconds faster than any other anchor in the race and led Villanova to a fifth place finish at Randal Tyson Track on Friday night. Williamsz was officially clocked in 3:55.46 for the final leg of the DMR and he made up a great deal of ground to enable the Wildcats to finish in the top eight overall.
