A group of four Villanova athletes competed in the shot put during the Covert Classic at Rauch Field House on Saturday afternoon. Junior Dan Sullivan (North Hampton, N.H.) led the Wildcats quartet with a fourth place finish out of 25 athletes and registered a mark of 14.11 meters. Freshmen Henry Sise (Hawthorn Woods, Ill.) and Daniel Timko (Shillington, Pa.) each recorded season-best distances for the day. Sise came in fifth overall with a mark of 13.95 meters and Timko placed 11th with a throw of 12.83 meters. Senior multi-event athlete Robert Cacace (Yonkers, N.Y.) finished 12th with a mark of 12.17 meters.
