Senior Samuel Ellison (Dresher, Pa.) and redshirt freshman Josh Lampron (Mansfield, Mass.) each set personal bests in the 1000 meters and Villanova returned to action by competing in 11 events at the Gotham Cup on Friday afternoon. The meet was the first of three straight at the New York Armory for the Wildcats and today's date marked the 100th anniversary to the day of the first track meet held at the famed New York venue. Villanova had 21 athletes in competition during the meet.
