Junior sprinter Emerald Walden (Lafayette Hill, Pa.) won the 60 meter hurdles by a comfortable margin and Villanova returned to action by competing in seven events at the Gotham Cup on Friday afternoon. The meet was the first of three straight at the New York Armory for the Wildcats and today's date marked the 100th anniversary to the day of the first track meet held at the famed New York venue. Villanova had 14 athletes in competition during the meet.
