Sophomore Patrick Tiernan (Toowoomba, Australia), senior Brian Basili (South Orange, N.J.) and sophomore Harry Warnick (Fairfield, Conn.) each placed in the top five to lead Villanova at the Main Line Invitational on Thursday evening. Tiernan led the way for the Wildcats with a second place finish out of 119 runners on the four-mile course at Haverford College. Villanova had 13 of its runners in competition at the early-season meet and came away with a successful day overall.
