Junior middle distance runner Jordy Williamsz (Melbourne, Australia) was named the Division I Men's Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday afternoon by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Williamsz earned the honor after his sensational finish on the anchor leg of the 4xMile relay at the Penn Relays last weekend. He and senior Elbert Maxwell (Pittsburgh, Pa.) were also named the BIG EAST male track & field athletes of the week.
