Liam Murphy, a junior at Villanova, placed 14th in the men's 10-kilometer final in 29:17.5 at the NCAA Division 1 Cross Country Championships at the Panorama Farms Course in Virginia. Murphy improved from finishing 92nd last season at the Greiner Family Course in Stillwater, Okla., earning All-America honors to help the Wildcats secure 20th as a team with 477 points.
