A strong team performance across the board helped Villanova capture its third straight indoor title at the 2016 BIG EAST Track & Field Championships over the weekend. The strength of the team in all disciplines was on display again Tuesday afternoon, as the Wildcats had 17 student-athletes combine to earn a total of 28 All-BIG EAST honors in an announcement by the conference. Senior middle distance runner Jordy Williamsz (Melbourne, Australia) and freshman sprinter Harry Purcell (Dublin, Ireland) each garnered three all-conference accolades.
