Villanova competed in seven different events during the Hurricane Alumni Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Of note among the team’s results at Cobb Stadium were strong performances in two relays by the Wildcats, who finished as the runners-up in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:13.31. Sophomore middle distance runner Elliot Slade (Cardiff, United Kingdom) provided the team’s top individual result by winning the 1500 meters.
