Just as the excitement of a Championship of America title in the distance medley relay had started to sink in, Villanova was turning its attention to the thick of distance night events at the Penn Relays on Thursday evening. Junior distance runner Bella Burda (Pleasant Valley, N.Y.) and freshman Alex Harris (Stony Point, N.Y.) competed in the 5000 meters and the 3000 meter steeplechase, respectively, to wrap up the first day of action at Franklin Field in the 124th running of the world's oldest and largest track & field meet.
