In the distance medley relay on Friday night Villanova finished third in its race at the Penn State National meet and its time of 11:04.54 puts the Wildcats fifth in the nation to this point in the season. Villanova ran in the invitational section of the DMR at Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track as the Wildcats opened two days of competition at the meet, which features a highly competitive field of teams.
