The declarations and accepted entries for the preliminary rounds of the NCAA Championships were revealed on Thursday afternoon. Villanova qualified eight athletes for the NCAA East Preliminary in Jacksonville and will be represented in four different events. Five of the eight Wildcats who qualified for the preliminary meet will compete in the 1500 meters, with one athlete each in the 800 meters, the 5000 meters and the long jump.
